Stayed for 4 nights, the hotel was enchanting and fairly clean, it had great location close to everything I wanted to see in Popayan. Location: the venue was just off all the attractions the city has to offer and centre of Popayan and taxi from both the bus station and airport. Spent a nice evening at Balcon de Los Santos, located a short way from the venue...

I recently stayed at Hotel La Plazuela for a few days during my trip to the beautiful city of Popayan. The location of the hotel was perfect, with easy access to major attractions. The staff at the hotel were friendly and always went out of their way to assist me. The rooms were comfortable, clean, and well-maintained. The hotel is attractive, fairly clean, and the staff is really helpful. the room is well-designed with stunning views from the balcony of the church in front, marvelous. the property is in an impeccable location, really close to good restaurants, the town center, the square, and both the bus station and airport. There is a broiler bar called Burguer Park located just a 5-minute walk away.

The hotel is located in the heart of a busy historical district, just a block away from the old town square. The surrounding area is full of charm and offers great convenience for exploring the city. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and provide a lovely view of the church opposite. The renovated features add a nice touch, and the bathroom is especially impressive.

The complementary breakfast and wifi were great. the hotel's central location allowed us to easily explore the local area and attend Easter activities. Another advantage was the beautiful view we had from our room.

The street noise outside our room was quite loud at night, and disrupted our sleep. the renovation work occurring during our stay was occasionally noisy and distracting.

The staff was so friendly and trustworthy, helping us with transfers and packed lunches. The location was perfect and the room was quiet. The courtyard was lovely and the whole place was super clean. The price was reasonable and the kitchen was flexible.

Best experience. Spent the New Year at a lovely colonial hotel with a beautiful courtyard surrounded by orange trees. The hotel staff was friendly and professional, recommending a great guide for our visit to the nearby national park. The location was perfect for exploring the city and taking short taxi rides to nearby bus stations. The room was spacious, the beds were comfortable, and the balcony was soundproof – a great feature for a noisy city.

Worst experience. The shower head was a bit of a challenge, as it alternated between spitting and drowning us.
